"Moved out this month. It was a terribly rainy day, and I just didn't feel like moving myself. Called BFR and they were able to come the very same day. Moved all of my stuff for way less money than I thought I would have to pay. I had 3 bed, 5 couches, 3 chairs, an entire kitchen set with 6 chairs and an extra table, large flat screen TV, deep freeze, weight set, tons of books, and lots and lots of storage materials. Still, they were able to handle it all with no problem and on the same day. The workers were also really friendly...I bummed a smoke off of one, and they helped my wife find an earring that she lost during the move. Also, the whole job only took a few hours, whereas I was expecting to be working all day with this move. Certainly a good experience for what I needed them for. I hate moving, but they made it easy and comfortable. "

"Above & Beyond I had a small move within the city, and after reading a lot of online reviews I chose Boston Flat Rate Movers. I'm very glad I did. Lauren was very helpful, professional, & answered all my questions. The 3 man crew turned up right on time & had my boxes & furniture, including a huge teak sideboard with glass doors, in the truck in under an hour & a half. My new place was less than 10 minutes away & they got straight to unpacking, just as efficient as earlier. However my huge sideboard would not fit up the elevator, the main stairs or the fire stairs to my 2nd floor apartment. I was devastated as it is my favorite piece of furniture. But after I saw how impossible this would be I suggested they take it back to my old apartment & I would just try to sell it or give it away. But those fantastic guys, worked for another hour to get that huge sideboard over a 2nd floor balcony railing from the pool deck! I was sure it would end up in pieces ... the city, and after reading a lot of online reviews I chose Boston Flat Rate Movers. I'm very glad I did.
